Balzac

Authentic and Adventurous. 

The Balzac room is named after Honoré de Balzac, the famous writer who so keenly observed human nature. Balzac gave a voice to both the past and the future—this room embraces that same balance between tradition and an adventurous, modern twist.

With its own entrance on the charming inner courtyard, nestled among historic buildings, the room feels like a hidden discovery. Inside, the sturdy OSB finish and the authentic limestone wall create a unique blend of modern and traditional, perfectly reflecting the atmosphere of the Loire Valley.

The room has a duplex layout: upstairs is a cozy sleeping area with a 1.2-meter bed, while downstairs features a single sofa bed for extra flexibility. This makes it perfect for adventurous travelers, including pilgrims following the Santiago de Compostela route—which passes right by our estate. A wonderful place to pause, recharge, and enjoy comfort with character.

In the packages we offer for the room, you will find both the price for the low season and the price for the high season. The high season starts on June 15 and runs until September 15.
