Antique & Flea Markets
Lovers of unique finds and special objects can explore the many antique and flea markets in the Loire region. From small village sales to larger markets, you can search for extraordinary items and authentic souvenirs. Additionally, almost every village or town hosts its own annual flea market or brocante, a perfect opportunity to uncover local treasures.
What makes an antique or flea market even more special is that it is often much more than just a market. In many villages, it turns into a real festival, where you can not only find trinkets and antiques but also enjoy local specialties and cozy food stalls. Often, there are food trucks or stands offering grilled sausages, cheese, crêpes, or a good glass of wine. Additionally, various extra activities such as live music, street performers, or children's entertainment are regularly organized.
Recurring antique and flea markets in the region:
- Brocante d'Amboise – Every first Saturday of the month, in front of the Château d'Amboise.
- Les Puces de Montsoreau – Every second Sunday of the month in Montsoreau. This large antique and flea market attracts both locals and tourists searching for unique finds.
- Brocante de Chinon – Every third Sunday of the month in the historic center of Chinon.
